I am thinking about efficiency and new tech in my stores and wondering whether our future is a smaller team supported by better technology? A little concerned if reducing headcount will hurt the customer experience. I guess it's all about balance.
Would you rather have 20 average employees or 15 exceptional employees earning more as long as they are supported with proper technology and AI?
AI is supposed to eliminate repetitive work so high performing employees can sell more, serve more customer sand earn more money. I like this but don't want to stretch current employees too thin and deliver a bad experience or increase burnout.
Which positions do you think will most likely change with AI?
Would you reduce headcount with proper technology & AI support?
Has your dealership done anything like this to become more productive?
Curious on other owners thoughts.
