Scout product is going to change the world

How can anyone get excited about new Genesis product?

"Scout is going to change the world" is doing a lot of heavy lifting for a brand that has not delivered a single production unit to a retail customer yet. And the person writing off Genesis has apparently not looked at what that brand has done in the luxury segment in the last three years. G80, GV80, legitimate competitive products with real transaction prices. The enthusiasm in this thread is missing the actual story, which is that the vehicles worth watching between now and 2030 are mostly from brands people on this forum reflexively dismiss.

Everyone’s talking about batteries, but I’m watching the synthetic fuel trials. If manufacturers can make carbon-neutral engines viable by 2028, it saves the soul of the enthusiast market. I’d much rather keep a manual gearbox than gain a dozen digital screens.
