Dealership - Sales
July 18, 2026 - 14:09

The 2026 Dodge Charger has a 385-day market day supply. There are over 10,000 of them sitting on dealer lots right now with an average asking price of $58,560 and 1,261 sold in the last 45 days. Stellantis launched this vehicle into a market that had just watched the previous Charger and Challenger sell 20,000 combined units per quarter. They replaced it with a four-door muscle car starting at nearly sixty grand and acted surprised when conquest buyers did not show up. The floorplan cost on 10,796 sitting units is not being absorbed by Stellantis. It is being absorbed by every Dodge dealer in the country who trusted the product launch projections. Dodge is now offering $10 cash per horsepower and event sponsorships to create buzz. You know what would have created buzz? A product people could afford that replaced what they actually liked. The people making the decision to retire the old Charger and launch this are not the ones eating carrying costs right now. We are.
